Carolinian "boomers" set homecoming
A 60’s themed homecoming will be the hot topic when members of the high school class 1960-1969 meet lunchtime on 19 January at the YO.U Restobar in Mango Avenue .
Billed “Alumni Dekada 60s”, the grand reunion is scheduled to be held on 25 January, 6:00 pm, at the Cebu International Convention Center .
Also up for deliberation during the meeting is the creation of the USC Boys’ High School and Girls’ High School Alumni Foundation, the Alumni Fund for Education, and plans for community development.
One of the aims of the Alumni Foundation is to extend its scholarship program to children of non-members who are poor but deserving.
With these socially-conscious activities already lined up, expect more than a night of socializing and rock and roll when USC’s ‘baby boomers’ meet once again to relive the good old days.
