Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Board Exam Results Top 10

A graduate of the University of San Jose Recoletos topped the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure examination given by the Professional Regulation Commission last year.

With a grade of 93.14 percent, Gecel Codera led the 1,886 who hurdled the examination. A total of 4,772 graduates took the CPA examinations in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Legazpi.

Codera was followed by Jan Marcus Tang of Chiang Kai Shek College, who obtained a grade of 92.86 percent.

Another University of San Jose Recoletos graduate, NiƱo Martin Juntong, placed third with a score of 92.71 percent.

Ellen Joy Apostol of the University of Santo Tomas landed fourth with a grade of 92.43 percent, and John Raymund Vincent Fullecido of De La Salle Univer-sity-Manila came in fifth with 92.29 percent.

Rene Boy Lebores of the University of Cebu, Fernando Monterola Jr. of Kingfisher School of Business and Finance, Reynaldo Prudenciado Jr. of Christ the King College of Calbayog, Jamil Saripada of De La Salle University-Manila and Mark Solatorio of University of San Jose Recoletos shared the sixth slot with a grade of 92 percent.

In seventh place were Mark Angelo Acosta of De La Salle University-Manila, Mark Alyson Ngina of the University of Cordilleras and Jenny Belle Rodis of De La Salle University-Manila who all got 91.86 percent.

Julius Ondoy of Notre Dame of Midsayap College and University of Baguio graduate Randy Ventanilla scored 91.71 percent at eighth place.

Taking the ninth slot was Chester Miguel Pacio of University of the Cordilleras with a grade of 91.57 percent.

Completing the top 10 was Ritcjie Tejana of the University of San Carlos with a grade of 91.14 percent.

The PRC said registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card and Certificate of Registration will start on May 31 and last until June 18. Suc-cessful examinees should personally register and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The oath-taking ceremony of the successful examinees, as well as the previous ones who have not taken their oath, will be held on July 2 at 1 p.m. at the Ple-nary Hall of the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City.
